Both Expand-It and Expand-It ULTRA are constructed using a double layer of heavy-duty weather resistant nylon.

Available in three nylon weights - 1680D "double ballistic", 840D "ballistic" or 420D "strong" - every Expand-It and Expand-It ULTRA features 1/2-inch of insulating foam sandwiched between the nylon layers provides stiffness and shape without rigidity or excess weight. All pocket feature 2 heavy-duty zippers and clear vinyl fronts. These materials have been proven under environmental conditions ranging from Alaskan winters to the desert heat of Operation Desert Storm.
